How to remove shortcut virus from pendrive ?

Plug in your virus affected Pendrive in computer/ laptop.
Now press Win key + R to open Run box and type “cmd” and press Enter key.
(Without double quotes)
In the opened command prompt, open your drive by enter your drive letter.
For example, if your drive letter is “J ” then enter J: and press Enter.
(To find your drive letter Just open “My Computer” and check your drive icon)
Finally type the below command and hit Enter.

attrib -h -r -s /s /d J:*.*

Note:- In this command showing above, “J” is my removable drive (pendrive) latter

You can copy the above command, and for paste in command prompt just Right-click and paste it.
That’s it, just wait some seconds. Then open and check your drive. Your folders will be retrieved.

Suggestions –After doing above process Copy your files and folder from pendrive to computer/laptop and format your pendrive. After that, copy back your files and folder back into your pendrive.

This will definitely recover all the folders, but may be possible it wont completely remove all the virus, better you scan the drive with an Antivirus. you can use windows defender ( A inbuilt windows antivirus) which is also work batter as a paid antivirus.
